Boys: Fairport 77, Schroeder 70

Alex Sortino, Eli Jones and Alex Doche each scored 16 points as Fairport held off Schroeder 77-70 in Webster Monday night.
Sortino got ten of his points in the 4th quarter and added seven rebounds and eight assists.
Fairport led 39-32 at the half, but Schroeder went on a 13-2 run early the third quarter to take the lead. Mitchell Herman scored seven of his 23 points during the run.
The Red Raiders quickly regained the lead and were up four points after three quarters. Sortino hit a jumper mid-way through the fourth to put Fairport ahead by nine. Schroeder did not get closer than four points the rest of the game.
Curtis Marshall also scored 23 points for Schroeder.
