Boys: Mendon 60, Sutherland 53

Matt Sullivan and Vaughn Boler each led Mendon with 17 points as the Vikings defeated Sutherland 60-53 at Sutherland Friday night.
The game was a rematch of the overtime thriller won by Mendon at the University of Rochester in December.
Sutherland led by two at the half, but Mendon opened the third quarter with a 12-2 run to take control. The Knights were never closer than five points the rest of the way.
Michael D'Amico also scored 13 points for Mendon and was all over the floor with assists, steals and anything else the Vikings needed.
Tom McDermott led all scorers with 24 for Sutherland.
