She was Belle in Beauty And The Beast, Maria in West Side Story, Laurie in "Goodness, I've been in about 26 of them since I was 6 years old through community theater and school. I've been singing since I could talk, really, humming tunes off TV and everything. It's just something I love to watch other people do, I love going to shows, every time a show comes to the Auditorium Theater I'm there, it's amazing to be up there and be someone else." Carissa participates in just about every musical program there is at "It really showed that she definitely has a wonderful passion that she's going to carry throughout her life, she wants to make music part of her future, whether it's performing or teaching." says Amy Story, Canadaigua Academy vocal director. "It's been my passion since I was a baby and it makes me feel really good when I sing and I'm on stage. It's awesome." Carissa's plans for the future include school....touring...and teaching. A life with music at the center. |
