    Scholastic Arts Spotlight Award program
was created to recognize outstanding high school senior musicians, visual artists, dancers, and actors in the Greater Rochester Area. This program spotlights students high accomplishments and talent in an exclusive WROC-TV NEWS 8 campaign, that includes a feature length news story and a promotional vignette. The Scholastic Arts Spotlight culminates at the end of each school year with a reception for all student award recipients and an award in the form of a sculpture to be created by a greater Rochester artist  representing all four art disciplines.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2009-2010 school year!
All applications received will be considered throughout the entire Scholastic Arts Spotlight selection season.  The earliest applicants have the best possible opportunity at being selected.
