Speeding Fines IncreasedStarting July 1, the penalty for speeding violations will be raised by $20, under a plan proposed by Former Gov. Eliot Spitzer- and it's expected to raise NYS revenue by $60 million a year. Will the higher fines help keep your lead foot under control?Yes- I pay enough for gas, I don't need to pay more for tickets. (18%)
Maybe- I'll at least think twice before pushing the speed limits if I know I'll have to pay for it. (31.9%)
