Reported by: WROC-TV Wednesday, Jun 10, 2009 @10:40am EDT A Seneca Falls man is facing charges after a 3 car chain reaction crash in Waterloo.Seneca County Sheriff's deputies say the incident happened June 5th. 45-year-old Carol Acker of Waterloo was stopped on Routes 5 & 20 waiting to turn. 44-year-old David Fanning of Waterloo was stopped behind Acker's car. According to police, 37-year-old Kenneth Sutterby of Seneca Falls drove into the back of Fanning's car which then hit Acker's car. 9-year-old Veronica Fanning, a passenger in the middle car, was taken to Genesee General Hospital with neck pain. She was treated and released. Sutterby was ticketed for following too close and is expected in Waterloo Town Court in July to answer the charges. |
