New information tonight in the case of missing Chili teen Brittanee Drexel. News 8 has confirmed that Peter Brozowitz of Webster is being questioned in the case. He is being represented by local attorney John Parrinello

17-year-old Brittanee is a student at Gates Chili High School. She was last seen Saturday night in Myrtle Beach.

Drexel had gone there earlier in the week with Brozowitz and other friends.

They have told police Brittanee left her hotel room with all of her belongings inside and never returned.

News 8's Eizabeth Harness spoke with Drexel's mother and boyfriend.

Dawn Drexel says they're following possible leads in Georgetown County which is south of Myrtle Beach in Horry County. But she did not go into detail about where in Georgetown County they are searching.

Brittanee's family and friends spent the day passing out flyers trying to raise awareness about her disappearance.
Dawn Drexel also said there has been no recent activity from Brittanee's ATM account. Her account was near empty when she left and now her mother is putting money into the account. The hope is that it will spark some activity and open a lead into the possible whereabouts of the teen or at least her ATM card.

Brittanee's mother says the trip was very spontaneous and that it was very uncharacteristic of Brittanee. Many of the friends she went with are unfamiliar to her mother.

Dawn says her daughter has never run away and has no history of drug abuse problems. But she did say the Brittanee suffers from depression and is on medication.
