Reported by: WROC-TV Friday, Oct 24, 2008 @02:22pm EDT ![]() Alice Kryzan is fighting for the congressional seat in New York's 26th district. Kryzan pulled off a huge win in the Democratic primary, beating out Jon Powers and Jack Davis, two candidates who used up a lot of money and airtime on negative campaigns. Kryzan is a native of Youngstown, Ohio, who attended the Chicago School of Law. She moved to Western New York 30 years ago, where she became the first woman partner at what was then the largest law firm in Buffalo. Her specialty is environmental law. Kryzan lives in Amherst with her husband, Robert, and her son, Sam, who is following in his parents footsteps and currently attends law school. |
