Reported by: Newsroom Solutions @ arkansasmatters.com Friday, Nov 6, 2009 @02:00pm CST A British tourist who was vacationing on Florida's Pine Island with his family last month lost his wedding ring at the beach, but miraculously has been reunited with the lost jewelry.
Dave Vitty is a comedy writer with BBC Radio back in England and didn't realize that he lost his wedding band until hours after he had left the shore. He called the manager at Willy's Tropical Breeze Cafe who promised to look for the ring and soon a treasure hunter with a metal detector was combing through the sand. It didn't take Greg Miller long to find the ring in the sand and turn it over to the manager from Willy's. Miller collected his reward and the ring is now on its way back to England. |
