Reported by: WROC-TV Friday, Nov 27, 2009 @02:00pm EST A picture-perfect day along the Florida coast was the setting for a successful landing of Space Shuttle Atlantis on Friday morning.
Clear blue skies and a crisp fall day welcomed home the crew that delivered 15-tons of spare parts to the International Space Station. Atlantis launched with six astronauts, but came home with seven. The shuttle brought home American flyer Nicole Stott who spent the past 91 days living in orbit with the crew of the space station. |
