Reported by: WROC-TV Monday, Nov 9, 2009 @07:00pm EST There is word today that the man accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood in Texas last week tried to contact al-Qaeda before the assault.
Government sources say intelligence agencies were notified after Army Major Nidal Hasan allegedly tried to contact people connected to the terror organization. At this point it's not known what the agencies did with that information. Hasan was shot four times by a police officer at the Army post and remains hospitalized in San Antonio. Fort Hood will hold a memorial for the victims tomorrow. |
