Friends and Family came together on Wednesday night to mourn the death of a Rush-Henrietta student.

Sophomore Keyon Robinson was killed Saturday night when he was hit by a car on Lehigh Station Road, just across from the high school.

Wednesday night, friends held a vigil in the spot he lost his life.

"Just trying to get through it the best way we could. Just trying to stay strong for him. We all know he in a better place know with God," said Kenneth Scott, Keyon's best friend.

The driver of the car was an off duty Rochester Police Officer. He has not been ticketed in the accident.

Robinson's funeral is set for Friday.
