Manny Magliocco threw three touchdown passes as Aquinas defeated Greece Athena 34-13 in a Class A semifinal at Rochester Rhinos Stadium Saturday.
Magliocco had 196 yards passing at halftime. Almost half of it came on a Section Five record 90-yard scoring throw to Chris Bostick, the first of two TD catches for him. Mike Messina also added 116 yards and a touchdown.
Athena did close within a score on Najii Wilcox's one yard TD in the third quarter. However, Aquinas put the game away with the Messina TD and a Klay Heston interception return touchdown.
Aquinas will get a rematch with archrival McQuaid in next week's Class A Finals.
