Reported by: WROC-TV Tuesday, Oct 13, 2009 @04:30pm EDT October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but of course it's really a year round event for those who are on the front lines battling this disease.
There is good news about breast cancer. Those who get the disease are living longer, and the mortality rate has decreased. So, who's still getting this disease? Do we know why? Is breast cancer preventable? Dr. Marcia Krebs of the Pluta Cancer Center is our guest on News 8 at 5. We'll ask her that question and more. For more information on the Pluta Cancer Center, click here. You can also call 486-0600. |
