No one wants the flu.  It hits you like a ton of bricks and keeps you in bed.  So draw up your flu battle plan on the web.

Any general will tell you - know the location of your enemy.  Click here for a map of H1N1 and flu cases in the U.S.   Flu is more widespread in the states that are more orange.  New York has the flu; it's just not as widespread as other states are.

Next up, arm yourself with a shot in the arm.  The Monroe County Health Department has an updated list of seasonal flu clinics on its website.   The date's on the left, the time's on the right.

These clinics will hand out the regular flu shot, not the special H1N1 shot.

If you go to one of the clinics, make sure you have your insurance cards with you.  You may have to pay and be reimbursed later.
