Jason Frazer joined News 8/Fox Rochester in October of 2008. A native of New York City, Jason began his broadcasting career in metropolitan Manhattan as a web producer for both WCBS-TV and 1010 WINS, New York's all news radio station. With a focus on the emerging news technologies available on the internet, Jason turned stories directly from the air to the internet where millions of New Yorkers could access them from home, work, or on the go.  Jason branched out to the television broadcast side of the business as a freelance reporter with News12 The Bronx/Westchester, while also taking to the airwaves as a radio reporter at WBGO-FM. Though Jason considers reporting his 'true calling,' he spent several years in the financial sector of NYC, learning the world of banking and business with both Citigroup and JP Morgan Chase. A Political Science graduate of Columbia University, Jason says he enjoys bowling, whitewater rafting, football, and traveling in his spare time.
