Evan joined News 8 Now in January of 2008 and is thrilled to continue reporting in New York State.  Up until then, he was a reporter for News 10 Now in Syracuse.  While at News 10, he covered stories familiar to folks in the Rochester area, perhaps the biggest was the manhunt for fugitive Bucky Phillips in August and September of 2006.  Evan’s news beat also included state politics and memorable events such as the Valentine’s Day snowstorm of 2007. Born and raised in New York City, Evan says he found his love for news in high school and became an active member of his college television and radio clubs and productions at Ithaca College.  During his 4 years of higher education, he pursued internships at WPIX, WNBC and MSNBC in the New York area and also spent a semester at KNBC in Los Angeles.  Evan is also proud to say is one of the few die-hard Mets fans to hail from the Bronx.
