He is the creator of “Cory Stories,” a human interest segment highlighting local athletes. If you have a great story to share, feel free to email Cory , he’d love to hear from you. Before arriving in Rochester, Cory was the Sports Director at WENY-TV in Horseheads, New York. In 2007, he received the ECAC Award of Appreciation from Elmira College for his outstanding local sports coverage. He’s also worked as a Sports Anchor in Helena, Montana and Fargo, North Dakota, where he earned the 2003 Teddy Award for Best Sports Broadcaster. In his free time, Cory enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and reading Chuck Klosterman. He grew up in Minnesota with his loving parents and younger sister, Chelsea. |
