Reported by: WROC-TV Wednesday, Sep 2, 2009 @03:55pm EDT The Long Island dachshund, claiming the title as the World's Oldest Dog, died in her Port Jefferson Station home over the weekend.
Chanel died at 21-years-old, or 147 in dog years. The pooch received the title as the oldest canine earlier this year from the Guinness Book of World Records. In her advanced age, Chanel was equipped with doggie sunglasses for cataracts and used a stroller to move around. Chanel is believed to have been born in July 1988. |
