Reported by: WROC-TV Thursday, Jul 16, 2009 @09:00am EDT Dr. Tom Campbell of Highland Hospital brought several different energy drinks to News 8 at Sunrise on Thursday morning.
While the drinks look and taste different, there's one thing the drinks have in common - a lot of caffeine. Dr. Campbell said that while each drink touts its different ingredients, these vitamins and supplements have no effect whatsoever. Dr. Campbell says they're perfectly safe for most people - just don't overdo it. Katrina Irwin, a well-known coffee aficionado, tried an energy drink for the first time.
